AFTER an unforgettable weekend at his home circuit of Jerez earlier this season, MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa will return to racing duties at Misano in September.
The Red Bull Factory KTM rider stunned the paddock at Jerez, leading the timing sheets in the early practice sessions, and rounding out the weekend with a solid sixth-place finish in the Sprint and seventh in the Grand Prix.
Pedrosa, a 31-time race winner in MotoGP, is the official KTM test rider and Misano will mark the third time the Spaniard has returned to competitive action since officially retiring from the sport in 2018.
The Misano event will be a busy few days for the riders and teams, as an official MotoGP test event will take place immediately after the Grand Prix.
Misano is a relatively happy hunting ground for Pedrosa, who has secured two wins and four podiums at the venue.
