A new full-face motorcycle helmet has been released by Nexx in the shape of its new Y.100, which comes in at a competitive price point.
The Y.100 features many of the things that are a must for a full-face motorcycle helmet in 2024, such as ECE 22.06 certification and an EPS liner.

It also comes with an X-Swift Quick Release visor sitting in what’s described by Nexx as “an extra wide aperture,” and has an optical class one rating as well as compatibility with Pinlock anti-fog inserts.
Behind the primary visor, a sun visor fights glare, while the design of the shell and liner is intended to fight external noise. This includes a thick neck roll to prevent air from entering up through the bottom of the helmet.
Speaking of air, ventilation on the Y.100 is covered by adjustable ventilation ports front and back, and a fresh air chamber between the EPS liner and the padding which “provide a cooling flow of air when the temperature rises,” Nexx says.
Inside, removable and washable X.Mart Dry fabric holds anti-sweat and anti-allergen properties, while there’s also compatibility with the X-Com3 Bluetooth 5.0 communications system, both in its Standard and Pro forms. Additionally on the electronics front, a removable mounting point is positioned on the side of the helmet for an action camera.
Pricing for the Nexx Y.100 begins at £109.99 for the base Pure model, available in black. Alternatively, the Core variant is available for £139.99 in White Pearl or Titanium, and the B-Side version comes in three graphic options and retails for £169.99.
