The Givi X.27 Tourer motorcycle helmet has been launched, bringing touring elements to Givi’s established off-road helmet.
Givi’s X.27 off-road motorcycle helmet is the base for the new X.27 Tourer, which is aimed at adventure touring, mixing both on- and off-road capabilities with a design intended to remain comfortable over long distances.
Built in a modular, or flip-up, design, the X.27 Tourer comes with Dual P/J homologation (meaning it is approved both with the chin bar raised and lowered), as well as ECE 22.06 certification.
Up front, the X.27 utilises a Pinlock Max Vision lens and a retractable smoked inner sun visor, while a peak adds to its off-road flavour and a micrometric closure system allows for the “unbuckling,” as Givi puts it, of the front part of the helmet, allowing it to be raised and lowered but making sure it stays locked in place when in the closed position.
Further, air intakes are mounted on the upper part of the chin bar, and are paired with extractor vents at the rear to maintain a constant airflow through the helmet.
Inside, the lining is removable and washable, and the nose pad can be removed, too.
Two different graphic designs are available on the helmet, which are centred around a large ‘X’ on the back of the helmet and are available in three options: red and grey; yellow and grey; and blue, white, and red.
Available in sizes XS-XXL, the Givi X.27 Tourer modular helmet comes with a price tag of £256.90.
