Harley-Davidson Manchester is reopening this weekend, with a ‘Big Opener Event’ taking place Sunday, June 23rd at the Stretford-based showroom.
One of the main draws for the reopening will be the presence of World Superbike race winner and former MotoGP racer Rubén Xaus, who will be attending along with his King of the Baggers racing bike. Xaus announced earlier this year that he’d be coming out of retirement to embark on a return to racing with an entry into the US-based 2024 cruiser championship. He forms one part of a formidable veteran team alongside the ever-entertaining road racer and Grand Prix legend Jeremy McWilliams.
Alongside Xaus and the new-look store, visitors will be able to meet the team behind the store and view the 2024 Harley motorcycle range, from Cruisers to Grand American Touring bikes – including the new 2024 Street Glide – and the Revolution Max powered range including Sportster S, Nightster and Pan America 1250. Test ride bookings on a brand-new demo fleet will also be available. There’s live music too, with rock band Swillers taking to the stage, along with food and refreshments available to all.
Heading up the new-look store is Dealer Principal, Rob Johnson:
“This is a hugely exciting time for all Harley-Davidson owners and fans of this iconic brand … Manchester Harley-Davidson staff provide a professional yet relaxed atmosphere and are on hand to answer any question or provide any help that existing and new customers may need. The new team are very passionate about the products we provide and are especially committed to delivering a supportive and fun experience and really look forward to seeing plenty of riders.”
