If you love Lego and want to increase your two-wheeled model collection, this CaDA Blocks kit of the Suzuki Katana might be just what you need.
Following on from the Lego kits already on the market for the Ducati Panigale V4, Yamaha MT-10, and BMW S 1000 RR, the latest kit is a fairly accurate recreation of the modern-day version of Suzuki’s legendary 1,000cc roadster. The kit comprises a total of 1,104 pieces and as well as the bike you’ll get the maintenance stand as shown in the images, complete with front wheel chock and rear paddock stand.
Accurate-looking angular bodywork aside, the Katana model features a working kickstand, an accurately replicated TFT dash, a functional chain, a three-speed gearbox, and a transparent engine with moving internal crankshaft and pistons.
This is an officially licenced Suzuki product meaning that all the graphics and model decals are recreated accurately - which isn’t always the way with stuff like this!
Like the kits we’ve already featured on Visordown, the Katana features spinning wheels, working suspension and accurately recreated brake discs, meaning you can set the new all-time lap record around your living room rug - ‘vroom vroom’ engine noises not included! It is also claimed that the CaDA Blocks building system is compatible with that of Lego, meaning you can create your own inline four-cylinder version of the Panigale kit if you really have to!
The kit is on pre-order now from the website Camshop.jp. It’s currently priced at around 6,000 Yen, which equates to about £30 - no mention of delivery costs to the UK, mind.
