THE extension of Galfer as an official partner of EnduroGP will keep the Spanish brakes manufacturer in EnduroGP until at least the end of 2023.
Galfer also maintains a strong competitive presence in EnduroGP, with both factory Beta riders - three-times premier class champion Steve Holcombe and reigning champion Brad Freeman have used Galfer for six seasons now. In particular, it is Galfer’s G1396R Sintered Racing brake pads and Disc Wave system that keeps some of the top EnduroGP riders with the Spanish brand.
Although speeds are lower in EnduroGP than in MotoGP, for example, the brakes of an enduro bike are still a hugely important component. The condition changes that take place across an enduro event, as well as the rough and varying terrain that the riders face, mean that not only the power of the brakes, but also the feedback and feeling the brakes give to the rider is incredibly important, as well as modulation.
With Beta, Galfer has won 11 EnduroGP world titles in the last five seasons, and it is also the choice of the factory TM and Fantic teams, as well as the factory GasGas squad with their multiple champion, Laia Sanz.
The 2022 EnduroGP season gets underway this weekend in Lalin, Spain, and its seven-round season will take it through Portugal (twice), Italy, Slovakia and Hungary, before finishing in mid-October in Germany.
Galfer will be present at all seven rounds of the Enduro World Championship, putting together autograph sessions with the Galfer-backed riders at the events, as well as offering information and advice about its products to the fans at the races.
