A new location has been announced for the Ducati DRE Adventure programme in 2024, booking for which is now open, as the Italian region of Umbria is included for the first time.
The Park Hotel ai Cappuccini, formerly a convent in the 1600s, will act as the base for all four dates on the 2024 DRE (Ducati Riding Experience) Adventure schedule. Located in the commune of Gubbio, the hotel lies within the Umbrian hills, and is intended by Ducati to offer a relaxing location from which to launch its various two-wheeled adventures.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 S, Multistrada V4 Rally, and DesertX are the bikes on which said adventures will be partaken, as well as the new DesertX Rally.
The basic idea of DRE Adventure is to combine adventure-based riding instruction and training with agreeable scenery, and Ducati is planning four dates for 2024: 11-12 June, 13-14 June, 30 September - 1 October, and 2-3 October. Each date is split into two days, the first taking place at Villa Benveduti and focused on learning and practising correct off-road riding techniques. Day two, Ducati says, “includes a tour with both on-road and offroad sections, which immediately puts motorcyclists in a position to put into practice what they learned in the school camps and continue to learn further riding techniques.”
Places on the 2024 DRE Adventure can be reserved now on the Ducati website at the cost of €1,100 (£950) - a price which does not include the cost of the one-night stay in the aforementioned Park Hotel ai Cappuccini.
