Ducati has opened bookings for its 2023 DRE Adventure riding experiences, with eight dates available for this year.
2023 is the seventh year of DRE Adventure, and this year will return to the Tuscan hills with the Ducati Multistrada.
In addition to the Ducati Multistrada V4 S and Ducati DesertX, the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally, which is new for 2023, will also be used in 2023 on the DRE Adventure programme. The newest and most off-road-focused of the Multistrada range, the Rally is certainly a welcome addition or 2023. Each of the bikes used is also able to be customised to the needs of each participant, thanks to adjustability options for the seat height and suspension.
The DRE Adventure programme itself includes practice sessions, before a tour through the Tuscan hills, “where,” Ducati says, “where it is possible to appreciate the dynamic characteristics of Ducati motorbikes on different terrain.” As a base, the programme uses the Castello di Nipozzano, a castle owned by the family of the Marchesi de' Frescobaldi, who are probably more famous for their red wine production.
Coaching is also a key part of the programme, and aims to cover all the bases of adventure-touring, from body position to off-road riding techniques. The lead on the coaching is Andrea Rossi (seemingly no, before you ask, regarding a certain GT3 driver), who won the twin-cylinder class of the Transanatolia Rally in 2020 with a Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro, and has won championships in twin-cylinder categories in Italian Motorally.
There are eight dates available for the DRE Adventure programme in 2023, with each spread over two days - practice and bike acclimatisation on the first day, tour on the second. The dates are as follows:

- May 27-28
- July 13-14
- July 15-16
- July 20-21
- July 22-23
- September 7-8
- September 9-10
