THE first bike has landed, in the form of the Ducati Monster 30° Anniversario edition, just 500 will be made and the basis of the bike is the Monster SP.
The 30° Anniversario uses much of the SP's underpinnings, meaning the same trick chassis parts, brakes, and electronics. Where it differs from the track-focused SP is its weight. From trawling the spec and tech sheet it seems to be 2kg lighter than the SP, which is already 2kg lighter than the stock Monster and Monster +. Of course, the paint is all new, with a Tricolour paint scheme and decals setting the two models apart. It's also exclusive, and wears that badge with pride in the form of a neat and numbered engraved plaque crowning the top-clamp of the headstock.

TOMORROW will see Ducati begin its introduction of the class of 2024 bikes, with seven episodes charting all the updated and all-new models released.
The story will unfold in seven episodes, ending on November 7th, just before we’ll get a chance to see all the new bikes in the flesh at the EICMA show in Milan.
The first episode, going live tomorrow, 27th July 2023, and according to the Ducati press release it will be featuring one of Ducati’s ‘most iconic models’. That immediately makes us think that an updated Panigale sportsbike will be opening proceedings, and it’s more than just a hunch that is making us presume that. 2023 saw Ducati follow the same format for the unveiling of its then-new and updated models. That time around it was the Ducati Panigale V4 that opened the show, with more power, updated brakes, tweaked electronics, and better cooling.
After that, a new premier will take place every two weeks, with the next instalment landing on September 19th.
