AJP announce the PR7 Adventure

AJP have been around since 1987 and were originally set up to fettle and fix, and eventually build their own, enduro and off-road bikes. There latest creation is a thing of beauty though, and step a away from the current line-up of enduro, trail and supermoto machines.

Called the PR7 Adventure, the 600cc single is more Dakar rally than bimbling along the highlands, featuring a huge 920mm seat height, 300mm of travel front and rear 310mm of ground clearance. One thing that is for sure though, if anyone knows how to put an off-road bike together it’s these guys. They won five consecutive Portuguese enduro titles, 1996-2000 and won the notoriously hard Baja Championship in 1996, 1997 and 1999.

The bike looks like all it’s needing to take on some serious rally raid competition is some sponsors and an auxiliary fuel tank. Features include ZF Sachs suspension, 21” front wheel (a fairly safe guess), sump and exhaust guards, rally headlight shroud and instead of a GPS or road book a touchscreen tablet. All very 21st century.

We have asked AJP for a guideline price on this, we'll update when they come back to us.
